So you've seen the animation and the importance of keeping up to date with the new technologies. Here we have Corocut 2, the new part and grooving concept. Corocut 2 has been our most versatile part and grooving concept since 1999. With a wide range of geometries to cover the different applications within part and grooving. We have grades to cover the different workpiece materials. Tools to cover all the machine interfaces we see in the market today. Now we're updating our offer to bring more value to our customers. The updated product family name is Corocut 2. It's been developed to meet specific needs of parting and grooving applications. Corocut 2 offers a new level of process security and productivity for your machining. It's been updated to meet specific needs of our parting and grooving applications. Corocut 2 offers a new level of process security and productivity for your machining. With this versatile tool concept you'll get the stability you need. While keeping your cost per component down and your metal cutting efficiency up. Upgraded inserts offer cost efficient machining. Corocut 2 inserts are produced with a unique in-house developed painted technology. Resulting in an improved edgeline quality for an increase in tool life. The smaller inserts now feature the rail interface, Which offers a more precise insert location. This in turn minimises insert movement for improved stability. stability. The wiper design on all parting geometries ensures an excellent surface finish. All new inserts are compatible with old and new holders. Corocut 2 features the well-established rail interface for all insert sizes. The rail design provides a more precise insert position and minimizes insert movement for improved stability. This is especially when applying side forces on the inserts. All new inserts will be compatible with old tool holders. But to get the benefit of a more precise insert location and minimized insert movement, you need to convert to the new tool holders with the rail design. Corocut 2 inserts are produced with a unique in-house developed painting technology. Which results in a quality edge line on the insert, as you can see in the picture on the right hand side, a far superior clean edge. Corocut 2. With better blanks from the painted technology, we can achieve better control on the edge rounding on the insert. This means we can reduce the tolerance and have the same performance on both edges. The wiper design on all parting geometries. Wipers inserts let you machine components at higher feed rates. Without compromising on a good surface finish and excellent swarf control. A general guideline is, two times the feed rate and you'll achieve the same surface finish. A general guideline is, two times the same feed rate with twice as good surface finish. We have now, new updated high performance grades. The new Furchoice grade GC 1225 offers superior flank wear resistance and edge line toughness. The new Furchoice grade GC 1425 is perfect for all parting, grooving and turning operations in good conditions. The grade GC 4425 offers an excellent combination of high wear resistance and edge line security. The application area for grooving, turning and parting off operations in stable conditions. Let's have a look at the new grade GC 1225. Compared to GC 1125, the new 1225 has improved flank wear resistance and a higher edge line security. This means, if the limiting wear mechanism is flank wear, you can expect around 50% longer in tool life with the new grade. The increase in edge line security means you'll have a more secure process. And for the grade 4425, the grade 44025 will be available in Corocut 2. In the parting off geometries in Corocut 2, we'll have the optimised coating for parting off application to make it more secure. For turning with TF profiling and RM geometries, we are using the same coating process as in general turning. You need to apply high surface speeds and stable conditions to get the benefit for this grade. In this test, with grade 1225, it delivered a 36% increase in tool life compared to the existing grade 1125. So this, we have a much stronger, secure edge line with 1225, as you can see in the picture on the right hand side. Improved clamping design on precision coolant tools. Corocut 2 parting blades are upgraded with internal coolant and an improved clamping finger design, which ensures a higher clamping force and better stability. Tool holders with precision coolant have been updated with a screw clamp solution. Combined with the new rigid rail insert design, insert movement is reduced to a minimum without any loss of clamping force. Corocut 2 holders with precision coolant are updated with a screw clamp solution. This will replace the former spring lock mechanism. The screw clamp solution and the rigid rail insert seat make machining more reliable than ever. Keep an insert movement to a minimum without losing any clamping force. The new solution will prolong tool life, increase performance and help reduce costs. When comparing the new tools with the old, the insert movement is reduced by 50% at a load of 500Nm. The updated blades have an improved clamping force. The shorter clamping finger provides higher clamping force and better side stability. The result in better performance when making chamfers before parting off. The new blades also come with internal coolant that increases tool life and helps swarf evacuation. Looking at the parting off test with Corocut 2 versus the old Corocut 1-2. Both tool life and surface finish are improved with the Corocut 2. Corocut 2. This is due to better stability and internal coolant. Tool holders with precision coolant have been updated with the screw clamping solution. One of the key areas to long tool life and reduce machine downtime is good swarf control. We achieve this by combining top and bottom coolant. The effects of which are noticeable at both high and low pressure. Coolant also plays a vital role when it comes to producing an excellent surface finish. Under coolant effectively controls the temperature at the cutting edge. The result in less tool work and a more stable performance. To help your programming techniques use Coropus toolpath software to deliver the optimized programming techniques. This will secure maximum output for all your parting and grooving applications. Here we will see a short animation. New pressing technology. Cleaner edge line. Improved edge strength. The new durable coating. For parting off. New clamping finger design. Higher clamping force. Better to withstand chamfer applications. Better surface finish. Profiling. With the new rail interface. Good stable location. Top and bottom. Allow stability. Good surface finish. Excellent swarf control. Tool holding and tool interfaces are really very important. We have a large portfolio of specific holders. alleghovah. Sheen Note and position on kitchen switches. There are various types of connectors. for easy coolant connection. So the versatility of Coracut 2 is exceptional. To summarize, we have geometries covering all parting and grooving applications, grades for a wide range of workpiece materials, and tool holders available for all common machine interfaces. We'll take a look at another demo. So you can see how stable the process is with Coracut 2 when producing a groove. When profiling, side forces, good swarf control, a good secure process is required to this type of application. Very demanding on the insert and the seat. We'll achieve this with the new Coracut 2. applications where it is possible to use double-ended inserts. Our two edges offer longer two life insert compared to single edge concepts. Process security and productivity are crucial in parting and grooving. The correct setup and choice of tools prevent problems. Having a wide range of geometries and tools with precision coolant enables optimisation for different machining conditions. So please do not hesitate to ask for support from your local Coracut 2. They will support you on your journey to improving your production and delivering quality. So now it's time for questions. Yeah, thanks Paul for leading us through this amazing concept. As you mentioned, it's now time for questions. So let's have a look at our chat. Do we have any? Just a few questions. The first one, are the new inserts compatible with the old generation to holders? Yes, they are. I think we covered that in one of the slides. Yeah, the new inserts will fit in the old holders. Okay. The second question is, which performance level can we expect to reach with the new grade 12-25? Okay. Obviously each application will be slightly different, but we would hope to achieve between 25% and 50% improvement. Okay, perfect. And I have another question. What is the advantage to have over and under coolant? Yeah, many, many advantages. Surface finish, wharf control, and probably the most important is tool life. Under and over coolant keeps the temperature reduced to a minimum at the hot part, the cutting edge. That's the benefit. That's how you achieve longer tool life. So it's very important. Okay. We don't have any more questions so far. Okay. Yeah. But if there are any, and you want to post something in the chat, we will pick them up and we will answer them and we'll come back to you. So I'd just like to take this opportunity. Thank you all for participating, for joining us today. Hopefully you've seen some good initiatives with the new Corocut 2. And hopefully you can now see how Corocut 2 can deliver the best performance for your machining applications. Thank you and have a good day.
