Hello and welcome to this tutorial on productivity analyzer 24.1 and in particular sustainability section of it Why are we doing this? We are doing this because our customers are asking for us to do analyze on their energy consumption and CO2 footprint And obviously productivity analyzer is a perfect tool for that Because we are already calculating the productivity savings with that And what have we done? We have added a new feature to the productivity analyzer And that is so-called sustainability result And this feature enables customers to view their energy consumption and CO2 footprint on each tested process But it also still contains the information on products and savings And here what have we done? Meaning that we have added or redesigned the report According to our new branding and obviously we have the same old productivity savings data on it But this section is new sustainability result and we are on that Also, we are comparing two different methods the reference and recommended groups and as a result On the highlighted section on the bottom you can see that we have the energy savings per year on kilowatt hours Then we have energy cost savings per year and then CO2 emission savings per year Then the rest of the report is the same We have a couple of charts and then we have the test data and subtest data as usual What have we added? We have added a couple of parameters so efficiency percentage for the spindle Local energy cost carbon intensity for energy used Geometrical data on tools And the material hardness which is actually an old existing section but now it's mandatory information For us to be able to calculate the result and as a result we get the Energy consumption energy cost saving and CO2 emissions savings The calculation obviously is done with According to fed parameters, but it's done in tool guide which is which is our web calculator And the result is calculated over there and then returned into productivity analyzer This obviously means that we have to be online when we do this calculation And what have we or what is new on the productivity analyzer So we have a tool bar at the top you can see we have a save as pdf button added Then we can select the report language From the drop down list And then we have the new quick launch button to update the sustainability data And on the bottom we have a couple of new charts for sustainability information And what actually happens when you click the sustainability button It can be used to mass update the sustainability data And you can also use different carbon intensity value if needed And when you click it you get this pop up on the view And all the information is fetched from the our third-party service provider And if you're not happy on those CO2 values there you can use also Your own and you add it to the bottom And then select the subtest you want to apply that then you just click apply and save And as already told we have a couple of new charts and as you see there are savings in kilowatts and CO2 Shown on the on those charts And here we have the list of the new information that we need to add We have a three new field for machine data a couple of fields for component data And then depending on what kind of tool you are Doing we have from one to three new fields on on Those tools And on the result we thought we have a Couple of three new fields for power consumption calculations energy consumption And CO2 emissions This is how it looks in in Real life we have the efficiency percentage On the machine data cost per kilowatt hour idle power And the on the details The efficiency percentage it means that You need to add a percentage how much of the used energy is being used for cutting process There is a default value set to 80 percent but You can also adjust that as you need to Then we have the idle power Power and this is depending on the machine How much power is is used to for to run all the Appliances screen chip conveyor pumps and so on And we have a default value with seven kilowatts But it this value depends heavily on the machine used So we have a Table for for different types of machines So as you see there, it depends a lot of the max power of the machine And the lowest is three and a half kilowatt machine The idle power is two kilowatts, but then if we go to the More more Powerful machines You can see there is a multitask machine which is 200 kilowatts And then the idle power rises up to 25 kilowatts But you need to select the one that on the machine that you are working with Then this is The information for the component And for that you need to select the Material code and then hardness of that material Then something new on the on the Tools We have the radial rake angle g a m f And it depends on the tool of what you are using And when it comes to coromon tools you will get this information Automatically but for the competitor tool you need to find that information And then we have the interrupted edge property And and that is yes or no selection Means that If you have a tool which have a serrated edge line then you need to check that box Then for the turning boring and part in and grooving tools you need to add the entering angle which is the old information But then additionally you need to add the orthogonal rake angle g a m o And that is in degrees Then indexable drilling we have the entering angle is a new field And that is According to the tool used and This information is also automatic when it comes to coromon tools Then we have solid carbide drilling Um, we have three new fields there is orthocolon rake angle Point angle and then A number of effective cutting edges Is um, also coming automatic Uh, when it comes to coromon tools it is automatic again Point angle and the number of effect cutting edges is also Coming automatic Then for tapping we have the th chl which is some thread sum for length And You can see from the picture what is meant by that Then on the result wizard we have the After you have fed in the tool life You can calculate then The max cutting power And energy consumption and co2 emissions In grams And and those are The things that are coming from tool guide So you just need to click that update button on the back And as a result you will get these values on the Report So that was all from
