Iwala 1080p Hi and welcome to the studio, Thomas. Thank you, Isabella. So this is the final introduction for our two-edged shoulder milling concept Coromill MS-20, correct? Yes, that is correct. Could you give us a short recap of the concept and a sneak peek of what's coming in October? Yes, of course. Exactly one year ago, we brought Coromill MS-20 to the market. A dedicated two-edged milling solution for machining in ISO M&S. It stands for High Performance, Reliability and Predictability. Today, we are adding on more items to this assortment to complete the offer. We add on eight new articles, cylindrical shanks with Silent Tools integrated adapter. A really good solution in demanding application where a long overhang is needed. That makes our cutter body assortment complete. And we now have an offer in between 15.8 to 84 millimeter. In inserts, we add on dedicated grades and geometries for ISO-P machining. We have three different geometries, the MM-20, the MM-30 and the MM-50, where the MM-50 is a new geometry dedicated for more heavy application. We have a full corner radius assortment and all the dedicated ISO-P milling grades. That makes the Coromill MS-20 insert offer containing 86 articles now to cover ISO M and ISO S and ISO-P. Thank you for this overview. You also brought some really interesting customer cases. Would you like to share? Yes. I mean, to really show the versatility and the performance of the Coromill MS-20 concept, I brought in three different success cases from customers, all in machining in the new targeted era ICP. The first one, the customer is using an eight edge solution from a competition, has a little bit issues with burr. And by applying MS-20, we could reduce the burr and also reduce the tool life with almost 50%. And you can see by looking at the tool life per edge, you see the number of edges doesn't count really. Here, a two edge solution is the best in this case. Second one is a high feed operation. Dedicated high feed solution is used by the customer. And a little bit weak setup. But applying the Coromill MS-20 dedicated geometries and grades for ISO-P with optimized cutting data, we were able to reduce the cycle time by more than 50%. Really impressive. Third and final case, and the proof of MS-20's strengths. Customers using a solid carbide end mill and want to reduce the cost and also to eliminate the regrinding expenses. Again, applying Coromill MS-20 gives the customer a productivity boost of almost 30%. Impressive results. And they really show that the Coromill MS-20 meets a variety of customer needs. So let's zoom out and have a look at the bigger picture and more specifically sales strategy. What can you share? The strategy that we launched one year ago is still valid. Just that we add on the new targeted area, ISO-P machining. Growth is in focus. Growing share of wallet and secure opportunities for new business. At our customers today, Coromill MS-20 should be the first choice where a two edge solution is required. And also to ensure that we maintain our profitable business, conversion should be at the minimum and only done if under threat. Customers in this area are looking for a reliable and predictable solution. And that is really what Coromill MS-20 stands for. Thank you so much. Do you have any final message or key takeaway that you would like to share with our audience? Yeah, the long-term goal that we have, I mean, to continue the journey of expanding within ISO-MNS without sacrificing an ISO-P, makes it much more easy now with a complete offer of Coromill MS-20. So last time you were here, we were talking about the Coromill MS-40. Today you're here for a different reason. Yes, the MS-40 is up and running and doing a really good job out there. But today we'll talk about some new additions within the MS-60 family. Quick reminder of MS-60. It's this economical 290-degree shoulder mill for ISO-P, K and M with a really nice six-edged inserts. But now we're launching a smaller insert size, 11. This opens up totally new opportunities because we will have cylindrical shanks going all the way down to 25 millimeter. And that together with the MS-60 size 16 will be a good complement. And we will have all the way from 25 all the way up to 100 millimeter cutters in the standard assortment. And we will of course launch them in the new top grades, GC-1230, and a new grade called GC-1220, which is a new ISO-K grade that Wayne will tell you more about later in the presentation. Looks great. Any more updates for the product family? We actually have because MS-60 will have larger radia insert. So we will have both radius 12 and radius 16 coming in the next Coro pack. And we will also have them, of course, in the grade GC-1230 and in the CVD grades. We will also upgrade the 08 radius that was launched already in 24.1 with this new grade 1230 as well, of course. So we have quite a big pack of extensions. Yes, with the complement of both the smaller insert size and the bigger radius, we are really ready to take on new market share. Fantastic. So, Wayne, what can you tell us about this new grade? Okay, let's take a look. In October, we are introducing GC-1220, a first-choice indexable milling grade for nodular cast-iron applications in stable conditions. 1220's performance excels in finishing to light roughing operations. If we look at the featured technology, it's a further utilization of our new Zativo multi-layer PVD coating of alternating titanium aluminum nitrite and titanium silicon nitrite, plus an improved coating adhesion, also called a bonding layer. If we then consider the product benefits, we have a simultaneously improved edgeline toughness and thermal wear resistance for predictable and superior tour life. Excellent performance in both wet and dry machining conditions. Well, that sounds fantastic. What can you tell us about the introduction strategy? Okay. So, what we're looking to do come introduction then is priority one, target new competitor volumes with GC-1220. Additionally, aim to win new competitor volumes by leveraging recently introduced Coromel families, MS-40 and MS-60. There is no pressure to convert 1020 to 1220 at this time. So, if I summarize then GC-1220, it's positioned then for basically ISO application K area. The application profile is light roughing to finishing operations. It's an all industry segments offer optimized for nodular cast iron. Our customer value proposition is unmatched edgeline toughness with increased thermal resistance for superior tour life in both wet and dry machining. And the key feature to take away is our continued use of very successful Sativo nano multilayer PVD coating technology. Thank you for this crisp summary and for joining us in the studio.
