Music Hello and welcome, Álvaro. Hello, Isabella, thank you so much. Wow, what an exciting teaser. Yeah, really fantastic. Wait for the long video. I will. We heard from Michael already. Can you give us a short introduction into Coromil MR20? Yeah, Coromil MR20, it's our new single-site Rhone Insert Concept that came to our family of Rhone Insert Concepts and it has been designed with productivity, reliability and the most important, security process in mind. Strong points. Why are we introducing this concept now? Yeah, good question. Now there is a lot of pressure on the market. Yeah. We can comment that in sectoralized aerospace, you have a really high value component that didn't permit us to fail when we are working. At the same time, many sectors demand unmanaged production. That is really tricky if you don't have this security. And of course, our competitors go forward, so we cannot stand still. We need to make something new. Yeah, definitely. We're operating in a tough environment, but we are tougher. Yeah. So let's have a look at the cutter body. Yeah, the cutter body. We have a lot of new features. I want to highlight only three of them. For example, we have absolutely new red signet insert sheet. That insert sheet provides a higher stability and reduce the micro movement that drives for the longer to life. We have a new under coolant solution, really nice job made by our R&D team, that provides you higher longer to life reducing the temperature. And of course, in this concept, we have the possibility to include it an extra teeth compared to Coramil 300. When we talk about HP, this drive to higher metal removal rates. Fantastic. So let's also look at the inserts. What can you tell us about those? Yeah, first of all, we have a thicker insert that is quite nice, but thicker insert is nothing itself. We have a really, really new and amazing geometries. As I said, the job from our R&D department, it's fantastic on this. We tested all of this geometry with really amazing results. We have an exceptional H line. On those inserts at R&D Express, we have a new flat slide technology. And we have this new insert stopper that helps us to easy to handle products. We can say. Fantastic. So lots of innovations here. What are some of the key components we are working with? As Michael has commented, our target in mind with this product is aerospace, energy, of course, really important in this moment, oil and gas. And as we still have ISOP, we can go for Dian Moults and General Engineer. So we can cover a really huge number of customers with this concept. Alvaro, we have a happy customer in Japan. Yeah, really happy customer. Our Japanese colleague Toshikazu has made a really fantastic customer case. This customer working at 718 in Cornell, really difficult to mechanize material. Even that difficult mechanized material, as you can see in the screen, we have two extra teeth in 100 mm diameter. So we can go further on metal removal rate or cheap volume. But even those, we have increased the fifth pet tooth with higher tool life. So this drive to 50% productivity improvement. And as you say, happy customer because we have reduced 5,000 euros more or less per year, only in this concept, only in this application. Those are some really impressive numbers. So now you made us all really excited for the assortment. Yeah, we have a vast assortment. We cover from 32 mm up to 5 inches or 127 mm diameter with a lot of kind of adapters. We will launch IC12, IC13 and IC16 insert. This cover more or less 85% of our current assortment and more or less 80% of our current cells. And we will launch six new grade, including our new grade 1240 presented in this core pack. Fantastic. Thank you so much, Alvaro, for taking your time and coming to the studio. Stay tuned. Let's go. As you saw in the clip, it's time to talk Coromill MS-20, our redefined shoulder milling solution. And for that, Thomas has now joined the studio. Welcome. Thank you, Bella. So Thomas, we will take a trip down memory lane. This product has been launched a year ago and we will have a look at the assortment. We will talk sales figures and also success cases. So let's dive right in. Could you give us a short recap of the tooling concept, please? Yeah, as you should know by now, I mean, Coromill MS-20 is our new first choice shoulder milling cutter. I mean, a versatile solution, very versatile, and it's designed and optimized for machining on the material size. So M, S, P and H. And I mean, it shows really high versatility, high performance. It's predictable and a really good solution for our customers. Fantastic. Let's talk about the assortment. Now when we have released the complete assortment, you can really see the variety of cutter interfaces that we have. We have Arbor, Capto, cylindrical end mill, and it's available from diameter 16.8 up to 84 millimeter. In the latest release, we also have released integrated silent tools that really give strength to this product family. On the insert side, we offer from corner radius 0.2 up to 3.1. And the inserts are designed for and optimized for machining on MS and P materials. And it's available in our latest modern grades. So a broad and versatile assortment to meet a variety of customer need. Let's dive a bit into sales figures. Could you bring us up to speed of how it went so far? I mean, the first release of this concept we did almost more than a year ago. And we were targeting, at that case, M&S. Since then, we have released also an ISOP offer that's targeting a bigger customer area. And we can see, I mean, the sales trend is really good. But also, at the same time, we should make note of that our customer base is kind of a flat level. Here we see room for improvements. I mean, to really expand our customer attraction and customer base. Because we know that we're only targeting 6% of our milling customer today. So here I see a lot of room for improvements. So potential for growth. And we have a strong tooling concept. And you brought three success cases in different materials. Which kind of shows that the concept really works, right? Yeah. I mean, this is kind of the proof of success for Coromilla MS-20. With its performance and versatility. It's three cases. One in ISOP material. One in ISOM. And one in ISOS. And look at the bottom row. What it means for the customer. The number of components produced. So this we have achieved by optimizing cutting parameters and cutting conditions. And also, I mean, with Coromilla MS-20. It really stands out that this is the first choice solution that can really beat our competition. Yeah. The cases, I think, show really the strength and versatility of the concept. And now it's time to go out and knock on new customer doors, right? Yes, for sure. For sure. Sounds good. We have a new milling grate for stainless steel coming up. And the one who can tell us more about it has joined the studio now. Welcome, Wayne. Good morning, Bella. So, Wayne, what do you have for us? Okay. So for this Coropac, we're introducing GC 1240, which is the first choice indexable milling grade for stainless steel machining in stable conditions. 1240's performance excels in light roughing through to finishing applications. Fantastic. And what can that grade do for our customers? Absolutely. So the value we can generate for our customers will be we have a superior tool life. What we've got is basically an improved thermal cracking and abrasive wear resistance, which then is giving us exceptional tool life in longer engagements. Also, then we can advocate dry machining for sustainability goals. And I'll show you later on then with some results, remarkable results, actually, in both wet and dry applications. Remarkable results. Sounds intriguing. Before we dive into performance, let us know about the introduction strategy. Absolutely. So the first priority then with such exceptional performance is to really go after the competition. So we're advocating then growth. So it's less about conversion. We also have then a strategic assortment enabled to allow us to do that. Second priority then obviously will be at some point later conversion, but not at the moment, you know, on this introduction. Okay. And you mentioned you did performance testing in both wet and dry conditions with some really surprising results. Really interesting and very, you know, very promising results, actually. So the performance test verification then, again, we use austenitic stainless, which is 316L. So we're running on the DMU210 machine. And then what we're actually doing is a dynamic milling of a closed triangulated pocket. We run two speeds. We do 180 meters then dry. We reduce that by 20% to 150 meters wet. And then if we take a look at those results and go to the first set, what we've also done is we've spread our results across two batches. It's very common to see inconsistent tool life between batches of austenitic stainless. So we've captured that over two batches, basically. So if we look at the first result then, we see 1040, which is the reference in the first batch of material, achieving 12 minutes. We repeat that then on the second batch and we take that to 10 minutes. We then switch from 1040 to 1240. And then the returning result then for the first test is 22 minutes, followed then in the second batch with 23 minutes. So if you add that up, we have 105% increase. So more than double with 1240 over 1040 in dry condition, which is remarkable. And just to point out that today across the customer landscape, probably 70% of most stainless milling applications and processes are using coolant. So, you know, this can be quite a step change for us. Then if we take a look at the wet machining results, again, over two batches. So we start with 1040, achieving then 16 minutes. We then switch to the second batch and we end up with 10 minutes. We introduce then the 1240 grade. And now we take that to 26 minutes. And then secondly, you know, with the second batch, 24 minutes. If we total that then, the average result is an increase of 92%. So just short of double, but more or less in both cases, we can see a doubling of the tool I've compared to reference, which is remarkable. Those are some really impressive numbers. Thank you for sharing, Wayne. So as we wrap this up, what is the main key takeaway? So the key in the door here is we have a superior performance that then is enabling productivity and sustainability increases. And secondly, then we should advocate this dry machining, you know, and this will be a case of trying to educate our customers. But if we have a sustainability conscience, we can increase productivity and then more or less save the planet by less use of coolant. Fantastic. Thank you so much, Wayne, for joining the studio.
