Hello and welcome to this tutorial on how to create the turning test with Productivity Analyzer 24.1 My name is Juha Waini-Niopä and I work for business process and technology team Topics on this tutorial are I show you how to create a group and subtest How to select the subtest type And as we are doing turning test I will show you how to add tool How to add insert, add cutting data and conditions And then setting the comparison on each group So we are now in the point where we have already added the customer, machine and component data And now we are adding the content And the wizard will ask you if you want to create a subtest And I will answer yes Then as we are comparing two groups We need to add a name to the group So this is the current method And then as you see on the right hand side It has now created the group And now it starts to add what you want to do We will be doing as I said turning test So I just select turning and general And then click finish Select the manufacturer And the tool code Let's use a very simple one Then how much the tool costs Let's say 70 euros Then how many insert indexes it will last So it's 200 One insert on this tool And then the indexing time is 2 minutes For the insert These two pieces of information are for our new sustainability calculations And the first thing that we need to add is the entering angle for the tool So that's 95 degrees And then the orthogonal rake angle Which is minus 6 When it comes to competitor tools You need to find this information somehow And I would recommend to use catalogues or websites To find this information for each tool Then when I'm happy I just click finish And then next thing I will need to add is the insert Insert Insert Insert Insert 1 Grade P25 Number of edges So yes CNMG So just check from the watch With the watch And when I jump out it will calculate all the rest of the data Criteria for the tool change Risk of insert breakdown And then this is again for the sustainability calculations And this calculation is done outside in tool guide So when you click this button here It will send information to tool guide And it returns the max cutting power The energy consumption As well as CO2 emissions per cut Then you just click finish You want to add another subtest Obviously yes We are now adding the new method that we are suggesting Because Productivity Analyzer always compares two groups together So we need to add a new group And for that we have this new button Here on the pop-up And we just click that one And then give it a name And click OK again And again And then we just repeat the previous steps So subtest, that's fine Manufacturer I can select the Kodomat from the list But I also can right away Add the tool code or part of it And then click the magnifying glass And it will list all the hits That it will find from our tool list And now I select that 12mm holder And as you see All the data is automatically updated And the only thing that we need to do Is fetch the price And this is now fetching the customers' net price from EPP And when I click it It will show the price there Insert indexing time, one minute And then I click finish And continue with the insert So I can directly click here Magnifying glass to fetch all the inserts That are fitting to the holder But to shorten the list a little bit I will write CNMG And then I get a bit shorter list Of fitting tools And it will take a few seconds And it will list the tools here Sorry, inserts here And then I just select the one That I am testing here And I will want to use the wiper insert With the 4425 grade And I click OK And again all the data is here And the cost will be fetched from EPP By click of a button And finish Again cutting data 100mm Let's increase the cutting speed a little bit 300m Spindle speed is there Feed We are using higher feed Because we have wipers So 0.4 Cutting depth is now 4mm We are doing only one cut instead of 2 But the length of cut is 100mm obviously And then this will calculate automatically everything else And now I click finish Select this light roughing I guess And then tool life is 15 minutes And let's see It gives our tool life in components and in meters And then we need to select criteria for tool change And again update this sustainability data Click Click And click And you are good to go Finish Add another subtest No we don't want to add any more But if we scroll down and see everything is 0 And the reason for that is That we have to select which group is now the reference And which one is recommended And how to do that is you just right click the group name And then select reference Add a comment if you want And then the second I was suggested is the recommended one And now if we refresh the report from the toolbar The data is here So first is the test data Then the productivity result So 429% increase on productivity The analysis per year You can see here Information on each group Then per component Same thing happening here And then we have the new section Which is the sustainability result And over here you can see What the change actually did For this So we are saving energy 202 Almost 203 kilowatt hours A cost saving will be just over 30 euros And then CO2 emission savings 30 kilograms And the rest of the report is Just charge that you can use when you are presenting this to your customer Group wise Group wise And then we have the test data We have the material information Machine information Excuse me Subtest information With tools And then cutting data And then how long
