And I am part of offer management R&D department. My responsibility is related to drilling products. And today I'm going to present the last generations of interchangeable tip drills. The name is DE10. Let's start. What is the DE project? DE means drill indexable. As I said, it is the second generation of interchangeable tip drills. And the projects will be developed and introduced in the market in the coming two years. Starting from the first of March, we have introduced the first part of the projects. The name is DE10. What is DE10? DE10 is the smaller diameters of the project DE. DE10 starts from diameter 9 up to 17.99. It's a fully patent concept. And we have new solutions, new connections that we call pretension interface. The second part of the project is DE20. DE20 will come soon in the beginning of 2027. And it's going to cover the large part of the diameter, starting from diameter 18 up to diameter 33. As you can see in the slide, the second solutions, the first solution, sorry, has the pretensions connection that is fully patent. And the second solution has a screw clamping. Applications. DE10 is, I would say, a multipurpose solution. We're going to introduce one geometry and two different grades. And with this geometry and grades, we can cover application on ISO-P, that means steel. ISO-M, stainless steel. ISO-K, that is cast iron, nodular and gray. ISO-N, that is aluminum. ISO-S, that is super alloy, like inconel or titanium. And ISO-H, that is alternate material. So, this solution, as I said, is mainly for high-volume holes making. So, what does it mean? It can be used in different applications, in different segments, starting from general engineering, automotive, oil and gas, pump and valves, and other applications. So, this can also be used in advanced operations, like entering and exit in inclined angles, like this case, or for cross-holes, like in this case, or for stack drilling, and last but not least, concave and convex applications. This tool is able to work and generate a tolerance in the range of H9 and H10. All the length, starting from 3, 5, 8, and in the future 10 and 12 times D, they can work without pilot. If we have a look to the today's assortment in drilling, in the Coromant drilling assortment, as you can see that the positions of DE10 is exactly in the middle between indexable solutions, like 880 and DS120, and solid round tools. What is the benefit if we compare with solid round tools? I think it's the cost per holes that could be lower in comparison of the solid round tools. And what is the benefit in comparison with the indexable solutions is the productivity. Normally, the tip drill has a much higher productivity in comparison of indexable solutions. Some features of the new DE10. I will start with the coolant channels. As you can see here in this slide, coolant channels are fully twisted. That is a bit different if you compare with the first generation with the Corridor 870. If you take into account 870, we have a central hole, unique central hole. Okay. In this case, for the D20, we have the twisted coolant hole, like this. What is the benefit? If we have a look to the cross sections here, you can see here, the central part of the drill, the core of the drill, is made by hardened steel. If you compare with traditional 870 or with other solutions in the market where they have in the center, they have the coolant hole, you can imagine here the difference in terms of stiffness and rigidity. The solution has also a variable helix. What does it mean? The helix starts with 50 degrees, more or less. And in the last part of the drill, the helix is 30 degrees. This kind of helix helps to reduce the sound during the machining. So it means that the tool is really silent and, as well, improve the cheap evacuations. Material used for this drill is a completely hardened material. We are speaking about 45 HRC hardness. So, also, in this case, this hardened material helped to have bigger, higher strength in comparison to previous solutions in our catalog. Margin. Here you can see also this part of the drill. The margin is fully grinded. And the margin helps to manage the tough applications, as we have seen at the very beginning. For example, when you enter in inclined angles or when you enter in concave or convex cases. Last but not least, we also redesigned the cheap flute exit that you can see here. Also, in this case, we changed the angle of the cheap flute. And this is giving some benefits when the drill is fully used. I mean, if you are using a 5xD drill and the hole is 5xD. This helps to remove chips from the cheap room. Drill tip geometry. Also, this is completely new in the market, I would say. Mainly for the point angle. What is the point angle? Again, the point angle is this one. If you join this with this, it's this angle. It's the point angle. That for D10, this angle is 158 degrees. If you compare with what today you can find in the market, I think it's the unique solutions with this angle. We have also other benefits. So the central part of the tip, the preparations. You can see this chisel edge together with the gush. These two together, they have helped the drill in the centering phase when entering in the component. Thanks to this geometry, we can machine 8, 10, and 12 times D without any pilots. Here you can see also how positive is the atics of the tip. We said before we are around 30 degrees. These two slots on the tips are for positioning the key for opening and close. And last benefit in the geometry that I would like to highlight is this edge preparations. As you can see here, there is a sort of reinforcement. If you look here, you can see also it's this ELIC reductions. So these edge preparations help in the reach the maximum tool life of the solutions. Let's see now how to use the key. There is this short video. It's just enough 60 degrees rotation for opening and closing the tip. The basic key is made by stainless steel. It's inside the box of the drill. If you want to improve the ergonomy of the drill, you can also order a plastic cover that you can apply on your key. So coming to the benefit of the solutions. D10 gives the opportunity to improve the fit and the speed in comparison of 870 and in comparison of other solutions in the market. These numbers arrive from our developed tests that we run all around the world. In average of 100 tests, we achieved an increased feed around 40%. And we measured a reduced CO2 emissions around minus 20%. Relevant results. So coming to where you can find information about parameters related to D10. There are different points that I would like to highlight in this slide. So first, inside the drill box, you will find a flyer like this one. Okay. So this flyer will give you all the information about parameters for different materials. Then, if you are more digital or you prefer to collect information by digital point of view, there is this data matrix code. You can use your camera, your telephone camera. But before, you have to download our iFind app. Using the iFind app and your camera on the phone, you can reach all the information about each single diameter of the E10. Or you can visit our web. And in the tool guide inside the web, you can also here select the best parameter for your application. So coming to the introduction plan. So now you can find in stock, starting from last March, from diameter 13 up to diameter 17, in the length of 3, 5, and 8 times D. Starting from next June, we are going to introduce also diameter 11, starting from diameter 11 up to diameter 12. So it means 11, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, etc., etc. So you will have, in June, all the assortment from 11 to 17. In the next Coropac, that will be end of September 2025, we are going to complete also the smaller diameter starting from diameter 9. At the end of 2027, we will complete all the DE assortment, means DE10 plus DE20. And we will cover from diameter 9 up to diameter 33, and with different lengths from 3 times D up to 12 times D. And now, I would like to show the tool in action. Have a look to this video. I don't know if you listen to the sound, but here we are working ISO-P material, and we are testing diameter 13 in two different lengths, 5 times and 8 times D. We did some simulation, as you can see here, all crossing, inclined angles, exits. 8 times D. 8 times D. drill, as you can see here, 140 meter, 0.45, without any pilots. Thanks, Marco. Good morning to everyone. My name is Fabio Capone, and I'm the solid round tools driver for the Italian market. And I will introduce you to our solid round tools introduction, one drill and two end mills. So, let's start. The position of the solid carbide drills is, as Marco showed before, is related for the smaller diameter. And after, in the following slide, I go a little bit deeper, from 3 to 8 times D. drill length. And one of the solutions we can reach with the solid carbide is a better hole tolerance, H8 or H9, for the typical diameter, above diameter 3. And for the micro drills, the hole tolerance is JS7. Coro Drill Dura 462 is our next generation of versatile solution for short hole drilling in multi-material application. The main feature we can highlight is the new grade X2BM with the Zertivo 2.0 PVD coated. The new grade is developed specifically for multi-material and guarantees high process security and superior to life, compared with our older 460 XM. Broad standard stocked assortment with micro drills and drill types one and types two, the type two is step and chamfer drill included in the offer. Direct customer and distributors friendly drill, price and assortment. Globally available, we have a globally available the reconditioning service, excluding the micro drills. So we can, we will start from diameter 3. Dura is the name, as you already know, about the versatile tools. So Coro Mildura for the hand mills, and now we have the Coro Drill Dura 462. So all the assortment for multi-materials application. Jumping on the geometry, we have a clearance angle, cutting edge preparation, versatile point geometry, flute shape, and seagull margin is studied for the versatile application. And better result and performance compared to the older 460. And as I already said, the main difference related to the older versatile drill is the PVD coating with the new Zertivo 2.0 technology. All drills are fully coated. 462. We have the diameter range from diameter 3 to diameter 20. As I already said, the drill depth are from 3 to 8 times D. And the main industry, we said, is a multi-material application. So general engineering, automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, and pump and valve. And we are able to drill the standard holes or with the reduced parameters, the component with the included entrance or exit or, for example, cross hole. But sure, we have to reduce the cutting parameters. Related to the 462 micro drills, we start from 0.03 millimeters. So very small drill up to diameter 3. All the drill depth are up to 6 times D. We have two versions, coated and uncoated tools available on stock. Main industry segments are medical, electronics, general engineering, watchmaking, automotive, oil and gas, and aerospace. And all the 462 are without internal coolant. So most of the application, we have to work with the step drilling to better evacuation for the chip. Positioning. As you can see in this slide, we compare the older 460 XM and the new Coro Drill Dura 462. And in the red, we are able to see, we increase the number of articles divided for 3 times D, 5 times D, 8 times D, the 3 times D with the Type 2 drills. And the micro drills, we already have in our catalog, but we include it in our range. So more, a lot of articles compared to the older version. And the Coro Drill Dura 462 is our first choice drill for versatile short hole drill in multiples material. We will replace the existing Coro Drill 460 XM. And as I said, the Coro Drill 462 XM micro drill assortment with 579 items. Very important for a weapon to sell our tools is the price. Coro Drill Dura 462 will be 20% lower than the Coro Drill 460 XM. And the Coro Drill Dura 462 assortment is wider compared to the Coro Drill 460 XM to cover important gaps and meet customer and distributors' demand. No stock item will be available within 4 to 5 weeks and 3 weeks for the micro drills. Last slide for the Coro Drill 462. I want to show you four internal tests with the 462 diameter 6, 5 times D in blind hole. So in this case, ISO P C 45, 200 HB. 190 meters and 0.18 feet. Another type of ISO P 155 PH 330 HB. Obviously, obviously, we have to reduce the cutting data 60 and 0.12. Staline steel 316, 90 meters and 0.15. Last test in titanium, 330 HB, 50 meters and 0.15. So we are able to work with interesting parameters, a lot of material. So now is time to change and I want to highlight you the introduction of the new profiling offer. As you already know, in Coro Pack 24, we launched the Coromil Plura Ball Nose and the Coromil Plura Lollipop. Now we are introducing the Coromil Plura Conical Ball Nose and the Coromil Plura Baller with one radius. In the next future, we will launch the Coromil Plura Baller to radius. So new profiling offer typically for the aerospace industry segment. Coromil Plura Conical Ball Nose. We are introducing the Coromil Plura Conical Ball Nose as a new family of solid endmills for profiling application in our optimized radius. Coromil Plura Conical Ball Nose is a more optimized range of tools developed for semi finishing to finishing application in ISO-S. For ISO-S, we have the grade Zertivo 2.0 and we have the T2CH for titanium based alloy and the grade dedicated for the heat resistant super alloys, R2AH. We have the different geometry and substrate for the both applications or the two types of ISO-S material. But I want to highlight that we have two variants, as you can see in this slide, with the short and long. IAPMX is related about your type of request or type of components. Jumping in the second endmill, we have the Coromil Plura Barrel. Again, mainly for the aerospace industry segment. And Coromil Plura Barrel has a one radius bar form and is developed again for semi finishing to finishing application in ISO-S. The grades are the same T2CH for titanium and R2AH for heat resistant super alloys. In this case, as I told you before, the geometry and the specific edge preparation are specific for the titanium or inkconet. And at the moment, as I already told you, we have one radius barrel form to reduce, compare the ball nose to reduce the sickle time. To close my presentation, I want to highlight that. The grade I just highlight you, the grade T2CH is primary for titanium. But for secondary material, we can mill components in ISO-M, so stainless steel and ISO-P steel. The same for the Coromil Plura Barrel. And the grade R2AH for inkconet, the secondary material, secondary application. We can use this type of tools, obviously, with changing the parameters. We can work the ISO-H materials, so the temperate material. So now it's time to Stefano. Please come on stage. Thank you. Good morning also from my side. I introduce myself. My name is Stefano Bertoni, and I am an indexable milling product specialist. Today we talk about the MS40, Coromil MS40. MS40 is a new tangential cutter. New tangential cutter that is possible to use in face milling and shoulder milling application. It's a true 90 degrees design, but when we use inside milling, contouring operation, and repeated passes. We have grades and geometry to machine all the materials. ISO-P, ISO-K, ISO-M, and ISO-S. And sure, it is a complement in our current assortment. We have excellent wall quality in terms of roughness and perpendicularity. We have high stiffness thanks to the tangential interface design. And with this, we have very high reliability and security. We optimize the chip pocket. We have excellent chip evacuation process when we machine against wall or repeated shoulder passes, milling operations. We have high density teeth in the tangential concept always. In average, we have one, two teeth more compared to similar diameter. And we have four cutting edges and easy to index. Applications. Mainly, I repeat, is 90 degree shoulder milling application. Side milling, mainly in repeated passes. It's a very good concept. We have also the possibility to machine in phase milling, full slot, and plunge milling. We have to pay attention when we machine in full slot application due to the fact that we have high density teeth. We have the possibility to machine in roughing operation and finishing operation. It's very easy to apply. Materials. As I said before, we cover all the materials, but the main application is in ISO-P, ISO-K. But it's possible to apply also in ISO-M and ISO-S. The main segment industry are general engineer and automotive because we have mainly ISO-P and ISO-K material to machine. Just to see some typical components, we have housing, supports, engine blocks and cylindrical head, covers, gearboxes, and also body valves. Just to see the assortment, we start from diameter 25 to diameter 160, the maximum. We have two different insert sites, 90 and 13. We have cylindrical shank from diameter 25 to 32. We have hardboard coupling from 40 to 160. We have overlapping for the two inserts in diameter 40, 50, and 63. I mean, it's possible to use the small insert or the big insert. We have to pay attention because the internal coolant is till 125 millimeter. What it means that in 160, we don't have internal coolant, but we have to use the external coolant. We have the possibility to use differential pitch and pitch or the high density cutter with HPH. We have even pitch cutter. As I said before, we have two different inserts. Insert 09, AP Max 8 millimeter. Insert 13, AP Max 12. We have three different geometries. Insert 0.8 geometries. 1L and 2M geometries. In the M geometries, we have direct press insert, M geometry, or E grind geometry. In insert 09, we have two different ready to use, 04 and 0.8. In the big insert 13, we have only, in this moment, 0.8 ready. We have the possibility to use five grates to cover all the materials. If we go in deeper, we have three grates for ISOP, 1230, 2040, and 3230. We have three grates for Cast Iron, 3230, 1230, and 4330. And finally, we have three grates, 1040, 1230, 2040, to cover ISO M and ISO S materials. I leave you with a video on gray cast iron. Okay. Hello, I am Antonio Tarallo and I'm the product solution specialist for machine integration. Today I will tell you a 60-year-long story, the story of silent tools. It all started in 1964. With this revolutionary idea on how to eliminate vibration during turning. This is from Hans Christian Holman, who presented his thesis about this application. Obviously, I will not tell you the whole story, but only the highlights and one of these occurred in 1979. In this case, we introduced the SL system or serration lock, which is still present in silent tools bars today. Another important step occurred in 1991, when we introduced adapters with Coromon Capto to increase stability and versatility. So we come to the recent story. In 2018, we introduced sensorized bars to monitor vibration, banding and load. And this was a great innovation to expand the boundaries of digital machine. Then, in 2022, we produced the largest turning bar in the world. 600 millimeter in diameter, 11 meters long and waging 9.5 tons. Finally, last year after all this success story, we introduced the new generation of turning bars. What changes in the new generation? What is changing is the heart of the bar. That is the vibration damping system that has been updated. Now, the damper is adjusted, optimized for the correct vibration frequency. On the front, we have improved the connection between the bar and the turning head to avoid leaks and make the high pressure coolant safe. Finally, we have changed the front screw that are now Torx Plus for a more secure locking. In the last Coropac, we finished the introduction, the new generation of bars, which now includes cylindrical adapters from diameter 16 to diameter 100 millimeters. In addition, we have 96 adapters with Coromon Capto in all sizes. Finally, we introduced the six adapters with HSK-T. If you have a request that is different from the standard, we can absolutely accommodate you using a parametric tailor-made system that allows us to range from diameter 16 to diameter 100, with overhangs from 3.5 times to 10 times. The front connection can be SL or quick change. So if you don't find the right bar for your application in the standard assortment, contact your Sandy Coromant representative. And if you have a request that does not fit these parameters, we can create a special solution for you. Now I show you this animation that explains how it works. So you can see the damping system works. This damping oscillates in oil. It's important that when you use silent tools to clamp the bar four times the diameter. In this part of the video, you can see on the left silent tools and on the right a rigid bar. The difference between absorbing the oscillation or not. And this is the tool status checker.
