Hi James, great to have you on air. Hi Isabella, it's good to be here. So about six months ago we launched the Corridor Dura 462 and since then sales have really taken off. What can you tell us about the launch? Yeah, the sales sure have. The release of the Dura 462 has been extremely successful and we're seeing market share gains. Customers both direct and channel are appreciating the significant uptick in productivity and tool life compared to its predecessor. That's quite the launch story. Congratulations. Could you give us a short recap of the drill? Yeah, sure can. The Corridor Dura 462 is a relatively simple geometry. It has an open geometry that customers can recondition themselves should they wish. However, the new PVD coating is the main point of difference between the old 460 and the new Dura 462. This is a proprietary coating and can only be provided by Sandvik Coramant Production and Reconditioning Centres. Just a quick look at the range. The range currently from 3 to 8 times D and diameters from 30 microns to 20 millimetres. The Type 2 drills allow for tap pilot holes up to M18. So versatility really seems to be the name of the game here. And I know for a fact that there are quite a few remarkable success stories out there already. Would you like to share some? Yes, there sure are. We have a lot of customer success cases that cover a broad range of materials and drill diameters. Just to give a flavour of what you can expect from the tool, I've got three success cases to share covering ISO-P and ISO-K materials. The first in ISO-K, with the using the same cutting data as the old 460, the customer gained 33% increase in tool life. Using increased VC and FIPA revolution, productivity increased by 43%. Unfortunately, we didn't get a number for final tool life as it was still running at 9,000 holes, even at the higher new cutting data. The second success case I'd like to share in ISO-P material. Again, shows the increase in tool life and productivity when running at the new higher cutting data, or the increase achieved in tool life if the old 460 cutting data is used. The final success case, again in ISO-P, this shows the same pattern of increased productivity in tool life. So the message here is, if you run the tool as recommended in Tool Guide, you're sure to achieve savings in cycle time, increased productivity for the customer, and even against low competitors, still have a very cost-effective tool. Wow, those are some impressive results. Let's dive a bit into sales strategy. What should our partners know on that front? Yes, it can't be underestimated how important our channel partners are, and we have the resources available to support you when needed. We're looking to strengthen our position together and win volume, along with bringing our new and existing customers along. As you know, the list price has been decreased by around 20% compared to the 460XM, and aligned with the marketplace. So conversion of the 460 to the Corridor Dior of 462 should be relatively straight and straightforward and easy for our existing customers. With the new lower price point, improved productivity, enhanced and balanced assortment, covering metric, imperial, fractional, number, and letter size drills, along with the extended stocked assortment and increased stock holding to support our channel partners' needs, we definitely have the tool for success here. Thank you for sharing those insights to sales strategy. Now let's talk sustainability, a priority for us and many of our customers. What's the story when it comes to reconditioning and recycling of the Corridor Dior of 462? Well, as I've previously mentioned, we have global reconditioning available, but this is more than just a traditional regrinding service. With our reconditioning, we guarantee repeated original performance of our tools to reduce the total cost of ownership. Tools can be reconditioned in line with the customer's applications and expectations. After that, they can be recycled. As I've mentioned, the geometry is open for customers who want to recondition themselves, and the recycling and buyback program is also available, so customers can recover value from their end-of-life tools and also inserts, regardless of origin, all adding extra value to the customer. So the value goes well beyond machining. We have a real full circle benefit here. As we wrap things up, would you like to share a sneak peek into the future? Sure, I would. But yeah, you're correct, Isabella. Our products alone don't comprise the full value we provide to our customers. It's equally important to highlight our supporting offers and how we can improve the value of our tools. So reconditioning, recycling, we've already mentioned, but there's our tool guide and our tailor-made offering to support customer-specific tooling needs. But coming up, we have the Corridrill Dura 462 deep hole drills. This is an all-new drill covering 12 to 30 times D and up to 20 millimeters in diameter. It uses the Dura 462s that we've already spoken about as the pilots. So this is a very exciting range extension to this family. Fantastic. Thank you for the update and for this exciting sneak peek. Thank you very much. And we are moving on to a new offer within the area of solid round tools. In October, Sandvik Coromant will be launching a new thread tapping tool, a true problem solver, and the one who can tell us all about it has joined me in the studio. Welcome, Staffan. Tackar, Bella. Staffan, please tell our partners what is this new offer all about? Yes. As you know, Sandvik Coromant have a very complete offer of tapping tools. And in this Corapack, we are introducing a new straight-through taps, Coratap 100, for ship control or ship braking in steel materials. Normally, the straight-through taps are used in short-shipping materials like cast iron or casted aluminium. But with this new offer, they have, of course, a grade suitable for steel but also a shipbreaker ground on the two of the three flutes. And it's grinded after coating. So it's mechanically breaking the ship and grinding it after coating, affecting temperature and friction that also support ship breaking. So in a through hole like this, the chips will naturally fall down, supported by the coolant. But if this would be a blind hole, all the taps are equipped with through coolant channels that needs to be used to flush the chips back up the flute. And this ground shipbreaker is only made on the, let's say, on the entry part of the tap. So the two first teeth on two of the three flutes are ground with the shipbreaker. And in the development phase, we, of course, identified the biggest or the best competitors with shipbreaker taps and looked for the best one. And we used the best competitor to benchmark our new solutions. This is a solution for steel. So we used P2.5 material and P1.2, more softer carbon steels. And P2.5, which is a bit harder, alloyed steel. And the tool life, as you can see, increased anywhere from 30% up to close to doubling the tool life versus the best competitor. Impressive benchmarking results. What are the key benefits you would like to present? Yes, there are a few things to remember when going to apply this product. First of all, focus on customers where ship control is the biggest obstacle or the biggest challenge to solve. If they are looking for tools with better tool life, higher productivity, etc., there are better solutions. So focus on ship control and whether there is an issue. Secondly, apply the coolant in the right way, as we said. In any blind hole, coolant only through the tool to flush the chips up the flutes. And the other way around, in the through holes, coolant through the sides of the collet or from external nonsense to push the chips down. And these short chips and chip breaking is not suitable in combination with MQL because it gets stuck and can bring poor tread quality. So use conventional coolants always. And finally, the setup and the programming. Use a rigid tapping cycle and a good tapping shock like CoreShack 970. Thank you so much for introducing the new offer and for joining us in the studio.
