Hello, my name is Claes Nord, and this video is all about reconditioning of solid round tools. We are in Gimo, Sweden, and together with me, I have two of my colleagues. Maybe you should introduce yourself. Thank you, Claes. My name is Fredrik Holmgren. I'm the reconditioning manager here in Gimo. And I'm Matthew Johnson, the product manager of customized solutions and reconditioning. And Matthew, let's start with you. If I am a customer and I would like to get a quotation on reconditioning these, three items, how do I do? So the first thing you do is register on the website as a Sandvik Coromant customer. That's the first port of call. If you're already a customer, you can log in. And there you'll see my page on the top right corner. Drop down, you'll see tool services. And there you'll see reconditioning. Once you're onto the reconditioning page, you can input your tool number, whether that be a drill or a mill, and get an instant quotation. And if I'm happy with the quotation, what happens then? I mean, how do I get it picked up? What's the deal? Okay, so it's a question between us. So the first thing is, as soon as you send, you'll get an instant confirmation and an order number to your email address. Gimo or the reconditioning centre where your tools will go to, will also get an email to let them know that there's some tools on the way for reconditioning. Then, from your side, are you ready? Yeah, what happens when you receive it? As Matthew mentioned, we will receive all the information on what tools can be sent in, and also the address where the tool is going to be picked up. So the tool will be, we will arrange a pickup. The tools will be sent to us in this reconditioning box, and then we will open the box up and start the reconditioning process. And nowadays, we speak a lot about the environment and sustainability, and so, in what way does reconditioning count towards this? Well, for me, it's, you're increasing the lifetime of the raw material, I would say. Instead of buying a new one, you can reuse the tool, one, two, three, four, five, even seven times. It's depending on what you're doing in your process, so to say. Okay. And you said one, two, three, four, five, six, how many times can I recondition a tool? What we can promise is three times. We can promise the same standard as a new one, but it's depending on what you're doing in your process as a customer. So, if it's a drill, a long drill, if you're using it in a way that you can do a fourth or a fifth or a sixth reconditioning, that's... Then I'm really saving the environment. Yeah, we do, we do. So, Matthew, there are many companies and people reconditioning solid round tools. Why should I, as a customer, send it to you? Okay, we have a unique offer, and then we have the web portal, where you can get instant quotation, send the order, and create your shipping labels. We guarantee you a 100 percent performance, three times, and we have robust approval process for all geometries and coatings. Sounds great. One question, though, that pops up in my head, and I think it's towards you, Fredrik. What about lead time? How long time do you need to recondition my tools? What we promise the customer is 21 days. The start point is when the customer is creating the order, the case, and the stop is when we are shipping back to the customer. So, 21 days. Okay. And what about quality on the job that you are doing? I'm thinking of scrap rates and so on. Can I really trust the quality on your work? I can only talk with Gimo, but I would say quality is something important for us, I think, in all recon centers. So, what we do is what we do an inspection of 100% of the tools to see if we can find some deviation that we might not, consider as acceptable reconditioning tool. Fredrik mentioned environmental savings and saving the planet and so on. But, Matthew, me as a customer, obviously, this is also good for my wallet. Very good. Very good for your wallet and sustainability. So, you're looking at, if you ever have your tool reconditioned three times, you're looking at over 50% cost saving over buying four new tools, which you only buy one tool. So, continue on that reconditioning journey with the tool, you're saving more and more each time. And, as I said, the first three times, they're guaranteed to be 100% performance. Great. I can add one thing there, actually. We have nine tool factories around the world, and, of course, we use our own tools, and, of course, we recondition. Before we end, is there anything you would like to add to the customers watching this video? I think that Sandvik Coromant brings something new to the market. You know, the recondition service now, I don't know anyone else has a service like this in the world. And it's reliable, it's sustainable, and it's cost savings. And, Fredrik, you are ready to receive all the round tools for reconditioning, right? Absolutely. Absolutely. Fantastic. So, we would like to thank you all for watching this. And what do you say, Matthew, as the three final words? Recondition, recondition, recondition. Thank you so much.
